Gunfire Reborn

Gunfire Reborn is a first-person shooter rogue-lite where you play as an anthropomorphic animal character. There isn’t a narrative to speak of, but it has solid game mechanics.

The talent tree is the same across all characters, which might be a turn-off for some but I actually liked it due to how few characters there are and how long it takes to unlock them. Weapons are unlocked by meeting objectives like getting to a certain area or killing a certain number of enemies so you’re progressing pretty quickly early on.

It’s fun in single-player, but it really shines in multiplayer, but you might find yourself playing as a group of the starter character since it takes quite a few levels to unlock another. Overall it’s a solid experience, and if you have Game Pass it’s definitely worth trying out, but if you don’t it’s not terribly priced either.
